How to tell if a baby is premature or not?
It’s important to check with your doctor if you’re concerned about a baby’s health and the development of your baby’s lungs, heart and brain.
A baby’s chances of developing problems during delivery are increased by high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar and high blood clotting factors, which can cause heart attacks or other serious problems.
Some babies are born prematurely, but the signs of a premature birth can be detected early.
Early signs include: The baby is born with a head tilted forward.
This can be a sign of a pre-term delivery, but may also be a baby who is just a little bit too big for the delivery room.
A big head, especially one that’s tilted forward, can also be an indication of a vaginal delivery.
The baby’s head should not be tilted more than two inches from the floor.
If the baby’s forehead is tilted forward while it’s in the delivery sling, it may be a preterm delivery.
